Jacqueline Neeracher was born in 1951, Switzerland. Since she received a Minolta camera as a child she has been a passionate photographer. While pursuing her career as a multilingual personal assistant she attended many photography workshops in Switzerland and Europe. She was also an editor and photographer for a magazine for hairdressers. Her favorite subjects are travel pictures, like in Burma/Myanmar, Canada, China, Cuba, Ecuador/Galapagos, Europe, Israel, Jamaica, Laos, Russia, Thailand, Trinidad﹠Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey and USA. She also is an accomplished macro and art photographer. Retired in July 2013, she devoted her life to photography entirely now.

I always loved this photograph of me when I was a child. It was taken by a family member and was in black and white. I remember the outfit very well because I was so dressed up with the hat and earrings. I always wished the image was in color because I cannot remember the color of the clothes, the jewelry, or the hat. So now with these images I have a choice of what colors I want it to be and it brings back happy memories of my childhood.
