　　展览名称：我的地带 My Place

　　一年一度的奥克兰摄影节由奥克兰摄影艺术信托基金会承办，以当代艺术文化为主，每年六月举办，展览在当地各大画廊、艺术空间、和公共场所展出。既有知名艺术家，也有艺术新秀；既有老作品，也有新作品。同平遥国际摄影大展一样，该摄影节也是亚太摄影论坛（APP）成员。
此次摄影展 “我的地带”由四位摄影师创作而成，通过摄影展现奥克兰生活与工作的细节。作品致力于探索艺术家与其生活背景，环境的关系（包括家庭，周围事物，郊区街道及乡村风景），同时加之独特的艺术想象，使得原本平淡无奇的场景变得独具风格。此外，作品不断寻找与环境背景的认同感，将自身融入所处的环境和风景之中，通过摄影呈现大千世界中“我的地带”。

A city-wide contemporary art and cultural event takes place within Auckland's major galleries, project spaces, non-gallery venues and public sites during June each year. The program includes a mix of emerging and established artists and comprises existing works and creation of new work. The annual Festival is produced by the Auckland Festival of Photography Trust. The Auckland Festival of Photography is a member of the Asia Pacific Photoforum along with the Pingyao International Photography Festival.
This exhibition "My Place" features four photographers living and working in Auckland. The images explore the artists' relationship with their backgrounds and environment - their homes, the surrounds, the suburban streets, the landscape, embracing but also transforming the prosaic to make it their own - that is, "my place", through art and imagination. The images also explore identity as connected to surroundings and background and the insertion of self and identity into their environment and landscape, representing "my place" in the world through photography.

　　伊莱恩史密斯出生于奥克兰南部帕帕库拉。艺术史学士，社会学硕士文凭。曾在伦敦工作。2004年奥克兰摄影节成立后，一直担任该摄影节董事。

　　Elaine grew up in Papakura, South Auckland and has worked with the Auckland Festival of Photography and acted as Trustee since its inception in 2004. She holds a MA in Art History and PG Dip in Social Policy and previously worked as an illustrator’s agent in London.

　　克里斯克森-斯科特1985年出生于奥克兰，艺术家，曾是一名吉他手。他以创作可以铺满整面墙的大幅作品为主(采用马奈作品中传统的艺术方法)，为了保证作品中每个细节的紧凑，在创作中融入了后印象派和抽象派元素，而非简单将主题与背景对应。他大多是在自己出生和生活的郊区，或是新西兰北岛承载记忆的地方进行创作，作品不关注世俗，而是聚焦如何将视觉现实转化为图片，如何表现多元化“决定性瞬间”，如何以深沉的艺术激情品味世界、品味影像。

　　Chris Corson-Scott was born in Auckland in 1985 and is a full time artist, having initally studied music (as a guitarist). His work is typically large-scale and made for the wall (engaged with the tableaux tradition that culminated in the paintings of Manet), but conjointly attempts to absorb the lessons of post-impressionism and abstract expressionism by creating a picture surface where every inch carries equal intensity, rather than merely depicting a 'subject' against a 'background'. Most of his pictures are created within a short distance of the suburb he was born and lives, or other areas of New Zealand's north island he has spent time and which harbour memory. His work is not concerned with banality, it is instead about the transformation of visual reality into pictures, a multiplied kind of 'decisive moment', and looking (at the world and images) with a hightened intensity.

　　摄影师：杰弗里 希斯（Geoffrey Heath）

　　杰弗里希斯生活、工作在新西兰奥克兰。2000年获得新西兰艺术与设计学院视觉传媒设计学学士学位；2004年，获得怀卡托国家信托基金奖——全国性当代艺术竞赛，每年在新西兰汉密尔顿举办。希斯的作品曾新西兰展出和出版，也曾在澳大利亚展出。

　　Geoffrey Heath lives and works in Auckland, New Zealand. He graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications from Unitec School of Art and Design in 2000. In 2004 Heath was the joint winner of the Trust Waikato National Contemporary Award. A national contemporary art competition held annually in Hamilton, New Zealand. Heath’s photographs have been exhibited and published in New Zealand and he has also exhibited in Australia.

　　摄影师：安妮塔 杰克布森（Anita Jacobsen）

　　安妮塔 杰克布森1984年出生于奥克兰南部帕帕库拉，拥有挪威和萨摩亚血统的。安妮塔杰克布森的许多摄影作品都以自己为主题及模型，包括自传摄影体裁的自画像。她作品对自我的真实性、转化性、表现性、以及影响身份认同的社会政治因素提出质疑；作品中对于个人以及家庭环境的研究值得关注。

　　Born 1984 and raised in Papakura, South Auckland, Anita Jacobsen is of Norwegian and Samoan descent. Using herself as both the subject and model in many of her photographs, Anita Jacobsen encompasses the autobiographical photographic genre of self-portraiture. Her work challenges notions regarding the authenticity, transformation and representation of the self, and the socio-political parameters that inform identities. An investigation of personal and the domestic environment is a key interest in her practice.

　　摄影师：维姬 托马斯（Vicky Thomas）

　　1964年，维姬托马斯出生于奥克兰南部的曼吉尔。2005年，维姬获兰奥克兰联合理工学院摄影系视觉艺术专业荣誉学士学位。作品多次参加艺术展览。维姬喜欢创作反映自己生活环境和成长经历的作品。由于生活在毛利人和白种人两种文化的氛围中，受两种思想的影像，她能够将不同的观念融入自己的作品，对当代毛利艺术作品的一些刻板理念和偏见提出质疑。此外，她的观念也受到流行文化、电影、电视和音乐的影响。

　　Born in 1964, Vicky Thomas grew up in Mangere, South Auckland. Vicky graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Visual Communication-Photography major at Unitec, Auckland in 2005. Vicky has a passion for creating artworks that reflect the environment in which she grew up and lives. Embracing both her Maori and Pakeha world experiences and influences enables her to combine various ideas and present works that challenge held perceptions and stereotypes when considering contemporary Maori artwork.
