摄影师：林慧娴 Lim HuiXian

林慧娴（1988生），南洋理工大学数码影像及摄影专业本科生。2008年曾在拉萨尔艺术大学学习美术，并获得绘画专业学位证书。鉴于人类对空间和自然环境的改造，慧贤拍摄了这组城市自然艺术品。她认为所拍之物能很好地诠释人类与空间的相互作用。
Lim Hui Xian (b.1988) has recently completed her BFA in Photography and Digital Imaging at the Nanyang Technological University. She also studied Fine Arts at the LASALLE College of the Arts graduating with a Diploma in Painting in 2008. Inspired by the human intervention of space and landscape, Hui Xian is particularly interested in the found objects she sees within the city and how these materials transit mini narratives that can be perceived of the possessors' interaction within the space.

《网络明信片》的灵感来自于摄影媒介对我们的影响。它改变了我们的世界观，影响了我们的行为方式。从模拟过程到数字化的转化使得摄影技术与其容量同步增长，并改变了人们纪录事物的方式。作品主要体现数码技术对摄影和照相方式的影响。
Postcards from the Internet is inspired from an interest in examining how the photographic medium has changed the way we see the world and it’s influence on the behavior of the individual. The transformation of the photographic medium from analogue processes to digital has made photography more accessible along with its ever-multiplying capacity and has altered the way users manage the recording device. This project is a response to the influence of digital transformation on photography and its effect on the way people photograph.
