威尔弗雷德现在新加坡南洋理工大学艺术设计及媒体学院攻读摄影专业学位。在去新加坡求学之前，他的家乡边佳兰正修建一个炼油厂，严重破坏了当地环境。他通过拍摄来呼吁人们关注环境问题。
Wilfred is currently pursuing photography degree from the School of Art, Design and Media in Nanyang Technological University. Before pursuing his education in Singapore, currently Pengerang undergoing serious environmental destruction due to the construction of an oil refinery, he seeks to draw attention to and comment on the ongoing happenings in his native hometown by his works.

照片中的男孩是我年轻时在马来西亚的写照。作为一名华裔马来西亚人，我经历过不公正的待遇和种族歧视。照片中展示的情节源于现实而高于现实，照片用一种隐喻的手法处理环境和我个人之间的关系，这些细微意象的融合还反映了当今马来西亚的政治形势。
The young boy in the photo is a representation of the younger me when I was still living in Malaysia. Being Malaysian Chinese, I have experienced inequity and racial discrimination. The scenarios presented in the images are heightened realities. Through the manipulation of the metaphorical relationship between the environment and myself, these meticulously composited imageries also aim to criticize the political situation in contemporary Malaysia.
