当代摄影中，意大利深远的文化底蕴足以支撑起艺术家影像视觉创造中无限的表达力量。之所以能够在平凡的方寸之间，紧紧抓住一个凝聚智慧定义的焦点，使其能够逃逸和摆脱空间与时间的重重限制展开边界探索，犹如伊塔洛·卡尔维诺《看不见的城市》书中描述马可·波罗和忽必烈可汗关于“石头和桥拱”的历史典故，在东西方文明之间展开机智对话，万年传颂。
Contemporary photography, because of its visual expression of unlimited power, is able to create an infinite range of different images. This medium can indeed explore confusional and ordinary spaces fixing them in concrete moments: it can easily get rid of the many restrictions imposed by space and time and start the exploration of new and unknown boundaries. The conversation between Marco Polo and Kublai Khan on "stone and arches ", from Italo Calvino's book Invisible cities, is the inspiration point for this cross-cultural dialogue about space and time.
